We can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel,
We've been staring too long into the sun of departure
We can’t see that we’re blind
So we go on walking
Guided by our dreams
Painting our world anew
But our dreams are empty
And there are no more green fields
Everything washed in a bleak grey
All the colour leaving the Earth
Every bright star
Plucked from the sky
Fall into darkness
Our lives are let go
Our emptiness consumes the tunnel
As we fade out of existence

As the walls crumbled down around our shaky knees, the dark shadow in the peripheral of our eyes left the room, at once light came flooding in like a super nova, and left us blind.
There is a hole in our head but we can’t remember what use to occupy the open space between wrong and right, yes and no.

|
A miasma of hands and tentacles probe us searching for signs of disobedience, a pulsing mass of flesh with a million eyes and ears all fixed on us, watching, waiting for us to slip.
We try to build our walls again, higher, stronger, so he can’t see in. Each brick we place, each barrier we create is met with the utmost malice and vehemence.
But still we still build our walls, up around our halos, hoping to lock ourselves away from what the worlds become.
We’re safe in here.
